About the role
We are seeking expressions of interest from Registered Nurses for a casual position within the Community Nursing Services team.
To be successful you need to have greater than three years nursing experience with a high level of written and verbal communication skills and excellent time management skills. You will have advanced assessment and problem-solving skills. The role requires nurses who have the ability to work independently in the community delivering a high level of nursing care in client's own homes. as well as collaboratively with other health care workers; capacity to prioritise patient care, escalate patient care and be flexible to meet the demands of a changing day to day business.
The services you will be required to work in include: District Nursing (DNS), Palliative Care, Hospital in the Home (HITH) and Post Acute Care (PAC). Experience working in those community areas will be highly regarded. You may also be required to work in alternate campus locations.
A current driver's licence is essential.
