SalaryWell established, doctor owned family medical practice, Balwyn Doctors, in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse (Div 1) to join our welcoming four-doctor clinical team, initially for 12-16 hours per week over 3-4 days, with an opportunity to increase hours over time.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create their own workflow, working both independently and alongside our GPs as required.
Essential criteria:
- Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Nurse Immunizer
- General Practice experience (at least 1 year)
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Police check
- Demonstrated ability to:
- work independently and as part of a team,
- prioritise workload and
- delegate within scope of practice
- Familiarity with Medical Director and PracSoft (preferred)
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Database analysis
- Chronic Disease Management Plans and Health Care Assessments (including ECG)
- Venepuncture and Immunisations
- Management of reminder and recall systems
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures and general nursing
