Central Coast Local Health District are looking for Registered Nurses to bring their clinical skills to their K4 Inpatient Unit specialising in Ears, Nose and Throat and Urology care. In this Surgical clinical speciality you will be a part of a excellence driven multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
You will be based at Gosford Hospital.

- You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- You possess recent clinical experience in the Nursing specialty of surgical, emergency and trauma care.
- You are committed to quality improvement, skills development and evidence-based practice.
- You have demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients and clients of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to support quality care for patients/ clients.
As a Registered Nurse with the K4 Inpatient Unit, you will bring your skills and experience in providing exceptional Nursing to patients needing care due to Ear, Nose and Throat and Urological surgical procedures.
The K4 Inpatient Unit utilises a team nursing approach, optimising the strength of the team and working together, sharing workload, supporting each other and utilising the knowledge and expertise of the team are foundational aspects of this approach and allow the team to make informed decisions whilst caring for patients and provide excellent patient-centred care.
