Form of workA unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse Educator to take on a short term contract at a dynamic aged care provider located in the beautiful mid north coast of NSW
Contribute to the development, management and of an education and training needs analysis for all clinical care staff
Support staff to identify their learning needs, strengths, limitations, and assist mentor them to select learning opportunities that will build on strengths and overcome limitations
Skills required for this position:
- A strong clinical educator experience
- Be able to act as a mentor for staff and provide a positive learning culture
- Contribute to the development of Clinical Governance Framework which encapsulates the models of care adopted by the aged care home
- Support staff to identify their learning needs, strengths, limitations, and assist /mentor them to select learning opportunities that will build on strengths and overcome limitations
- Promote a high standard of evidence based clinical care to all clients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience as an RN Educator within a Residential Aged Care facility
- A true passion for aged care
- COVID booster & Flu shot required
- Current police check (within 12 months)
- Two clinical references from a senior staff member within the last 12-18 months
