This role has various Temporary Full Time and Part Time positions available until 31 December 2024 with the possibility of extension at same/reduced hours.
What you'll be doing
The Senior Registered Nurse is responsible for working rotating shifts in all areas of the Emergency Department including Fast Track, Paediatrics, In-charge, Triage, and Resuscitation areas as well as all general and acute areas of the department. The primary objective of this role is to provide assessment, information and acute care to patients in the Emergency Department in a senior nursing capacity in all areas of the department in consultation with the NUM/nurse in-charge.

Selection Criteria: * Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Recent clinical experience in an Emergency Department or Acute Care setting.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Continuous Quality Improvement concepts.
- Computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
- Ability to demonstrate application of NSW Health CORE Values.
