About the Epworth Clinic
The Epworth Clinic is a private Mental Health service in Camberwell, supporting a range of Mental Health needs through psychiatric consulting, inpatient therapy and outpatient day programs. Our Mental health service is focused on recovery orientated Mental Health practice applying a holistic approach to the bio psycho-social model of care.
Our service consists of 63 beds across two inpatient units and provides specialist, compassionate, multidisciplinary recovery oriented Mental Health care to general adult psychiatry, younger adult psychiatry and old age psychiatry.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing compassionate recovery orientated Mental Health care to patients and their families/carers
- Conducting patient assessments, care planning and managing clinical issues relating to the patient’s condition and treatment plan
- Liaising with referring specialists and clinicians involved in the patient’s care
- Liaising and engaging with the Epworth Centre for Innovation in Mental Health.
For you to be successful in this role you will bring the following:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute or Mental Health nursing
- Strong communication, you have a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with patients and their families.
- Relevant recent experience in the provision of acute Mental Health care
- A thorough understanding of the principles of recovery-oriented care, mental state assessment, care planning and specialist care delivery.

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $66,710 - $93,669 + super + entitlements and Enrolled Nurses – AUD $66,340 - $73,024 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
