We’re here to provide our local communities in NSW and the ACT with equitable, inclusive and integrated health care including physical health and mental health care services. We currently employ 340 people, provide services from 25 locations and are continuing to grow.
About the position
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Aboriginal Health team. The Registered Nurse will support the delivery of health services provided to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities by improving access to health care, health screening, chronic disease management and health promotion.
This position will also contribute to a range of health services such as child and adult health checks, outreach specialty clinics, case management, coordination of clinics, and health promotion.
The position is based in Goulburn and delivers services throughout the region including in Goulburn, Yass, Queanbeyan and Braidwood. This position is available to 30 June 2025, with the possibility of extension.
We are looking for someone with:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of two years' experience.
Experience working with First Nations communities and demonstrated cultural awareness.
Demonstrated ability to deliver flexible and culturally sensitive health interventions to Aboriginal Communities.
Ability to work independently and confidence in exercising clinical judgement.
