About the Facility
The Outpatient Department at University Hospital Geelong aims to provide specialist care to consumers in Geelong and surrounding Barwon South Western region. We have grown in an attempt to meet the demands of a growing population now covering four sites and manage an average of 5500 referrals per month. This growth incorporates an exciting opportunity to become a part of newly expanded ophthalmology specialist clinics.
As an outpatient Registered Nurse you will ensure the effective provision of patient focused care incorporating care of patients referred for diagnosis confirmation, treatment planning, pre operative and postoperative management. Special interest or recent experience in ophthalmology nursing highly desirable but not essential.
