Position Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee our treatment room operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and maintaining the efficiency of treatment room services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vaccine management, infection control, and the ongoing education of our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treatment Room Management: Oversee all aspects of the treatment room operations, ensuring that all treatments are administered safely and effectively.
- Vaccine Management: Manage vaccine inventory, storage, and administration according to the latest health guidelines and regulations.
- Infection Control: Implement and maintain infection control practices according to CDC guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Staff Education: Develop and conduct educational programs to keep the clinic staff updated on the latest in clinical practices, treatment methodologies, and health and safety protocols.
- Policy Development and Implementation: Participate in the development and implementation of clinic policies to enhance the quality of care and operational efficiency.
- Consultation: Act as a consultant on request in areas of proficiency to facilitate the provision of quality nursing care.
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as needed, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and clinic policies. Maintain accurate records and report on treatment room activities.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Demonstrated experience in vaccine management and infection control.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to educate and motivate staff.
