Pindara Private Hospital are searching for an experienced Critical Care/ICU Nurse to join our team on the Gold Coast!
- Part-time, maternity leave contract commencing 29th Jan 2024 until January 2025

This opportunity will see you joining our 9 bedded ICU, admitting postoperative patients, patients from MET/Codes and patient from the emergency department.
Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay's high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for our staff and patients.
You will require flexibility with rostering including weekend and evening shifts, however a self-rostering process is in place within the unit.
Your Skills and Experience
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in an acute hospital environment
- Proven experience within a ICU/Critical Care/Emergency is essential.
- Be able to respond appropriately to and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in health status of patients requiring clinical review/MET /Code Blue.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster (night and day)
A base hourly rate ranging from $40.47 - $52.19 + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances (QLD RN/RM Level 2 gr2-8)

The Hospital
Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia's largest and most respected private hospital operator, Pindara Private Hospital is centrally located in Benowa on the Gold Coast.
Pindara Private Hospital is a modern 348 bed licensed acute care Hospital with extensive on site facilities including a new 24 hour Emergency Department, 22 Operating Theatres - including our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit, Intensive Care, Coronary Care, Oncology, Maternity and Paediatric units. Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
