The role
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified nurse to join our Health Centre team on a relief basis.
The Health Centre Nurse plays a crucial role in the support of the health and wellbeing of our boarding and day students.
This role is a casual position to provide fill in during staff absences or during peak times.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have a passion for working with children.
- Have an ability or the capacity to create and maintain positive, professional relationships with students, parents and colleagues from a range of diverse backgrounds.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the health and wellbeing issues that present in a boarding school context.
- Demonstrate a genuine care for the health and wellbeing needs of the students and wider community.
- Be able to effectively manage the confidentiality and privacy aspects of the role.
- Appropriate nursing registration.
- Positive Notice (Blue Card) for child-related employment in Queensland.
