About the OpportunityThe health services at Clarence has 3 modern health centres that delivers appropriate standards of health care to approximately 1700 inmates from diverse backgrounds and cultures. You will provide primary care based on a patient-centred model allowing patients to actively participate in their health management. The team works closely with correctional staff to deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that:Promote the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates
Ensure the safety and security of inmates
Fosters a high standard of practice to facilitate safe health care delivery

Create patient care plans in collaboration with various stakeholders
Deliver holistic and integrated patient-centred health services that treat and prevent communicable disease, and proactively treat chronic disease Actively support the Clinical Team Leader and Nurse Unit Manager to achieve required health outcomes
About you - your ideal skills & experience Current registration as a Registered Nurse, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Minimum of 2-year full-time post graduate experience (or part-time equivalent)Experience in primary health, rural health or emergency nursing (desirable)This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role.
