Are you a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on Mental Health care?
As a Registered Nurse for the Wyong Acute Care Team, you will be a vital part of providing expert Mental Health care to the Central Coast community. The role involves conducting clinical Mental Health assessments, offering consultation to carers and health professionals, and delivering Acute Care, case management, and crisis intervention.
This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the highest standards.
- Undertake nursing interventions to support clients in achieving health and wellbeing goals.
- Coordinate nursing and health care to ensure positive health outcomes.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for effective care.
- Timely and accurately manage health care information in electronic systems.
- Collaborate with clients, carers, and healthCare team members for comprehensive care.
- Participate in personal and professional development through the performance review process.

- A Registered Nurse with current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- You have recent clinical experience in provision of Mental Health assessment/Acute Care interventions and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
- You have Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi- disciplinary health Care team.
- You have the ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
