The Registered Nurse:

The Team:
Ward 5B is a 32-bed surgical ward. We provide wholistic post-operative care for a variety of elective and emergency surgical cases including Orthopaedics, Plastic & Reconstructive, Maxillofacial, Gynaecological, General, Breast, and Ear, Nose and Throat surgeries.
5B is an inclusive environment that utilises a multidisciplinary approach, striving for seamless care for surgical patients. The staff on 5B place the needs of our patients and their families/carers at the centre of our care, ensuring communication and collaboration to facilitate safe discharge from hospital.
5B provide a supportive environment for learners, focussing on teamwork to ensure excellent care provision in a busy surgical ward.
Details of Appointment
526614: Permanent, part time, shift-worker (fully rotational) position working 72 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you like to join our team
521430: Permanent, part time, shift-worker (fully rotational) position working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you like to join our team.
522776: Fixed term, part time, shift-worker (fully rotational) position working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 14 April 24 till 1 February 25.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
