About Your Role:
As a Registered Nurse / Educator, you will play a crucial role in our mission by:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to our participants.
- Preparing and reviewing care plans to ensure they meet the current needs and medical requirements of our participants.
- Delivering clinical training to our team of Support Workers to enhance their skills and knowledge in providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review individualised care plans for participants with support needs, ensuring they reflect current circumstances and medical requirements.
- Provide expert care and management in the following areas:
- Complex bowel care
- PEG tube and enteral feeding
- Dysphagia and mealtime management
- Ventilator support
- Tracheostomy care
- Urinary catheter management
- Suprapubic catheter care
- Subcutaneous injections
- Stoma care and management
- Diabetes and insulin management
- Epilepsy and midazolam administration
- Pressure injury and complex wound management
- Deliver comprehensive training to Support Workers on the above areas to ensure high standards of care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration.
- Experience working with people with disabilities.
- Strong background in preparing and reviewing care plans.
- Ability to provide clinical training and support to team members.
