We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Registered Nurse to join our team as part of our Occupational Health division. Responsibilities:
Pre-Employment Medical Assessments:
- Conduct thorough medical assessments to evaluate candidates' overall health and fitness for specific job roles.
- Assess and document medical histories, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant privacy laws.
- Collaborate with employers to understand job requirements and alongside General Practitioners and other allied health professionals, provide recommendations based on medical findings.
Other Testing:
- Administer drug and alcohol tests in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Ensure accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of test results.
- Conduct respirator mask fit testing to ensure proper fit and protection for employees working in environments with respiratory hazards.
- Educate employees on the importance of respiratory protection and proper usage of masks.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, tests, and related documentation.
- Alongside General Practitioners and other allied health professionals, prepare comprehensive reports for employers, summarising findings and providing recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid registration with AHPRA.
- Satisfactory police check relevant to requirements of the role.
- Working with Vulnerable People check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
