Registered Nurse - Night Duty

Uniting seeks Registered Nurses to work at Uniting Elizabeth Gates and Alroy House in Singleton, NSW, offering full time and permanent part time work

• Higher hourly rates (to $51.15 p/h) and twice as much salary packaging as hospitals
• 2 Night Duty roles available - full time (76 hrs per fortnight) and part time (40 hrs per fortnight)
• $5k relocation fee or retention fee (if working 24 hrs + per week)

About the Uniting Singleton facilities:

Elizabeth Gates - nestled in the peaceful rural township of the Hunter Valley region, a welcoming aged care home in an intimate community of 35 residents.

Alroy House - With 2 separate households, each with between 24-25 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Your Uniting Homemaker ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.

Whatyou’llbedoinginthisrole

We are seeking a full time permanent Night Duty RN as well as a permanent part time Night Duty RN to work 76 hrs & 50 hours per fortnight.

• • You will learn & gain variable experience in memory support care, hostel care and high level care, complex wound management, catheter care & palliative care
  • You will be a clinical leader in the service and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents
  • You’ll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services
  • You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for clients’ quality of life
  • Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers

Whowe’relookingfor

• • You’ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector
  • You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
  • You’ll be committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.
  • You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
