Lions Haven is a leading not-for-profit 121 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Hope Island. Our fully accredited modern facility, which includes a 20 bed memory support wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. Residents have the freedom to enjoy life in a homelike atmosphere where families and friends are most welcome. We are looking to recruit a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurses in a permanent capacity. If you are committed to resident care, can demonstration clinical knowledge in dementia, aging and the deterioration stages of an aging population, possess excellent communication skills and are willing to challenge yourself, we'd love to hear from you! Support and assist medical practitioners and allied health professionals as appropriate. Ensure Clinical Documentation and assessments are detailed, accurate and aligns to the Aged Care Quality Standards. Demonstrates a genuine interest in the well-being of the elderly Are reliable and willing to maintain a safe and high standard of practice. Practice in accordance with laws and regulations relevant to your role ESSENTIAL CRITERIA Bachelor Degree in Nursing Registration with Australian Health practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA) Current Police Check Experience in Health or Aged Care (desirable) Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal & communication skills Demonstrated commitment to professional development Current Covid-19 Vaccination including booster 2023 Influenza Vaccination CPR / First Aid Role Type
