Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Registered Nurses with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established Recovery team on a part time or casual basis.
Working with a supportive NUM and collaborative team you will be confident working in a busy environment where no two days are the same! Within this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks;
· Provide evidenced based nursing care
· Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
· Ensure patient and staff safety
· Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
· Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and strengths;
· At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse within PACU, ICU, or ED
· Current Advance Life Support
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
