We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Padstow. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with disabilities.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and documents:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS Induction Module
- Infection Control Module
- NDIS Enjoyable Meals Module
- Bachelor of Nursing or recognized equivalent
- Registration with AHPRA and evidence of continued professional development
- Current Driver's License
- NDIS Screen Check
- New Worker – NDIS Induction Module
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Qualification in Disability work or Welfare (desirable)
- Qualifications in Respiratory Nursing or Critical Care (desirable)
- Work collaboratively with the support team, including family, friends, advocates, and nominated others
- Respond quickly to participants' discomfort, distress, apathy, or poor health
- Identify potential and actual risks, taking prompt action and consulting with the participant
- Review and complete risk assessments as required
- Professional / Clinician supervision and development
- Development and review of health support plans or other care plans
- Support participants with complex and high-support medical needs
- Demonstrated Continuing Professional Development
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
- Understanding and practical application of relevant legislative regulations and NDIS Standards and Rules
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures impacting disability services
