An excellent opportunity is now available for Registered Nurses to join the team in Perioperative Care. These roles are located at Nepean Hospital in a Permanent Full time or Part time position.Nepean Operating Theatres provide a variety of services to the local community including :

• Obstetric/ Gynae surgical Services
• Orthopaedic Services
• Neurosurgery services
• Urology Surgery services
• Ear Nose and Throat surgical services
• Plastic Surgery
• Vascular Surgery
• Thoracic Surgery
• Colorectal/Upper GI surgical services.

The Operating Theatres also provide a 24/7 emergency surgery service. • Minimum 12 months Post graduate Operating Theatre scrub scout experience in multiple specialties
• Strong computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems including Powerchart, EMR and Surginet.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of NSW health policy directives and Australian college of operating room nurses (ACORN) standards and their application to Peri-operative nursing practice.
• Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSE CORE values.
• Demonstrated high level of verbal and non-verbal communication skills including knowledge of Outlook, Word and Microsoft TEAMS.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a busy acute unit.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, Work Health and safety, infection control and quality principles and
