Holroyd Private Hospital is a 48 bed Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital located in Guildford. The Hospital comprises of 3 theatres. Specialties include orthopaedics, ophthalmology, general, bariatric, and plastic surgery.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Due to our continued strong growth, we are seeking to employ experienced nurses for the role of ophthalmic scrub/scout nurse
- The successful applicants will have experience in Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout
- Have a dynamic and outgoing personality and you will work very closely with the Senior Manager to provide patients and Visiting Practitioners with an excellent experience.
- We are accessible by public transport and have free parking.
DUTIES:
- Provide clinical services within the theatre that are of a high standard.
- Contribute to the Hospital's and the IPHOA strategic objectives for the operating theatres;
- Be proactive in all aspects for Continuous Quality Improvement and providing safe, quality patient care.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Full registration with AHPRA
- At least 3 years’ post graduate experience as scrub/scout, ophthalmology experience essential
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in the Private Hospital sector is highly desirable
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills
