Registered Nurse - Renal Services


Part Time (0.8 FTE), Fixed Term April 2025

The Role: 

 The Registered Nurse performs duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager and ANUM’s/ Renal Care Coordinator/ CNS/ Team & Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the core values and the strategic direction of the hospital. 

This role incorporates patient care responsibilities and duties specifically in the Renal Dialysis unit of the Hospital.

To be successful in this role, you will have:


- Relevant registration with AHPRA
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
- Experience and demonstrated competence in renal dialysis
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to implement initiatives
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
- Commitment to customer service and Quality/ Continuous Improvement
