Our Renal Services at Western Health are seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our team.  Our Renal Services provides a large range of services including dialysis, consisting of inpatient and outpatient services. Renal Services at Western Health operates at a variety of sites, including satellite services at Sunshine, Williamstown and Sunbury and is currently offering the following exciting opportunities:

The below selection criteria applies to all vacancies listed:

• Successful completion of Bachelor of Nursing
• Registration with AHPRA
• Knowledge and experience within a Dialysis unit
• Minimum 12 months working experience within an Australian hospital setting (not including placements)
• Demonstrate the ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to high quality and ongoing to maintain a culture of patient centred care.
• Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess excellent clinical skills

Registered Nurse – Dialysis Unit

An exciting opportunity to join the Dialysis Unit.

We are seeking a highly passionate and experienced dialysis Registered Nurse for this rewarding yet dynamic opportunity in our established and comprehensive dialysis service.

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and work in both acute and chronic dialysis units

The Dialysis Registered Nurse will be a crucial part of the busy team in the Dialysis unit providing high quality patient care and striving to achieve the highest standards in clinical practise, teaching and research.

As a dialysis Registered Nurse you will work closely with the ANUM to provide safe environment for staff and patients and a positive work culture and be a part of departmental quality improvements for the service.

To be successful this role you will be required to meet the following:    

Essential criteria

• At least two years’ experience within a Dialysis Unit

Desirable criteria

• Recent post-grad certification in renal nursing would be looked on favourably. Experience in Haemodialysis Nursing

• Prior experience with Fresenius 5008 & 5008s machines

Registered Nurse: Dialysis Pool 

Location: Western Health (All Campuses) - Sunshine/Footscray/Williamstown/Melton

Type: Permanent Full Time / Part Time

Our Dialysis Pool staff will be required to fill vacancies that arise across our Dialysis Units at Western Health. As a Dialysis Pool staff member, you'll embrace diverse clinical settings, gaining invaluable experience while enjoying the security of permanent employment. 

Additional essential requirements for Dialysis Pool: 

• Commit to a minimum of 0.6 EFT a fortnight (6 shifts a fortnight)
• 12 months minimum dialysis experience
• Able to work across a 7-day week rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Willing to work across the different hospital campuses (Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown essential. Bacchus Marsh & Melton desirable)

$67,527.20 - $95,378.40 based on Experience per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.
