Our GP practice is friendly and well equipped, offering high quality medical care located in western suburb of Melbourne, Werribee. We are currently seeking two experienced RN Nurse to join our team. We are looking for confident nurses who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for the functionality of our Treatment Room.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following up on patient results and recalls
- Conducting health assessments and care plans
- Co-ordinate & facilitate treatment room- including stock control of all equipment and vaccines
- ECG's
- Spirometry
- Immunisations – adult & child
- Wound management
- Infection control
- Assisting doctors with minor procedures
- Maintaining cold chain management systems
- Patient history enhancement
- Triage
Essential Criteria
- RN
- General Practice Experience at least 12 Months
- Current registration with APRHA
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- Demonstrate confidentiality with patient and clinical information
- Ability to multi task
- Experience with Best Practice software is an advantage
