As a Registered Nurse- Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:
Undertake nursing care in accordance with legislation
Deliver evidence based nursing care
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and (AINs) to deliver patient care
Proactively assess the perioperative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
Complete all required documentation in accordance with local and National Policies
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 2 years' Scrub/Scout experience in an acute perioperative environment
Working with Children check
Bachelor of Nursing (Science) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (desirable)
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
