Norwest Private Hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by Healthscope, a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia. The hospital has 277 beds and is a high acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney’s Bella Vista.
The Department
Our Women’s Health Unit is a 43 bed post/antenatal/gynecology ward with 7 birthing suite rooms. Supporting this service is a 7 bed level 2 Special Care Nursery.
To be part of this exciting team you will need to have:
· Effective communication skills
· Great team player commitment
· High level customer service focus
· Neonatal qualifications or working towards
· Ability to work independently
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
· Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA
· Minimum of 3 years Neonatal nursing level 2 nursery experience
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery
· Working with Children check for NSW
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
· Intermediate computer skills
Desirable Criteria:
· Post graduate qualifications in Neonatal nursing (or working towards)

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020- 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.59 per hour.
