• Permanent Part Time, 56 Hours Per Fortnight
• Registered Nurse, Grade 2 (YP2-YP9) ($49k - $70k)
• Specialist Clinics- Surgical Services (Burns, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Hepatobiliary, Plastics)
• Monday- Thursday rostered shifts (4 hrs & 8hrs)

About the teamThe Surgical Services Program delivers the majority of surgical services across all Alfred Health sites.The program consists of 16 surgical units, anaesthesia and perioperative medicine, operating suite service, surgical inpatient wards, a medical day unit, day of surgery admissions, day surgery and endoscopy service. The
program also oversees the elective surgery waiting list, and medical elective waiting list.About the roleAs a clinical nurse your practice will lead to excellence in patient care. You understand the importance of
establishing a relationship between the patient and yourself in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for
your patients. You demonstrate the core nursing values of patient centred care, trust and respect in every
interaction with patients, carers and colleagues.
As nurse you are accountable for establishing and evaluating the patient's plan of care in partnership with the
patient, their carers and other members of the health care team. You are supported in your role as a clinical
nurse by all other nursing positions.Skills & Experience Required

• Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA.
• Relevant surgical or wound care nursing experience
• Current and satisfactory Police Check
• Current and satisfactory Working With Children Check
