The Role:
We are looking for permanent part time Registered Nurses who are passionate about a person-centered approach to care, to join our facility in Wauchope.
You must be dedicated to working in the community care model and be able to apply quality standards, including the Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and Attendant Care Standards.
What you will do:
As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for ensuring:
- Holistic assessment in partnership with residents and their representatives
- Development and evaluation of individualised resident care plans
- Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
- Clinical care including wound management, palliative care and medication management
- Liaison with medical and allied health care staff
- Provision of safe, high quality care in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Positive resident experience through resident-first approach
- Registration with the AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in providing clinical care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Hold NDIS Worker Checks (or willing to obtain)
- Be passionate about delivering a person-centered approach to care
