- Monitor and assess residents' health conditions, documenting observations and reporting any changes to the clinical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff, to deliver holistic care.
- Support residents with their daily activities, ensuring their dignity, privacy, and independence are maintained.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or critical situations, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience in aged care, community care, or a related healthcare setting.
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate and person-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices in nursing.
- Flexibility to work on a casual basis, including weekends and public holidays, to cover leave periods.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
