The Newstead Residences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will thrive in an environment where resident choice comes first. Your ability to build a strong rapport with families and work closely with a dedicated team will help ensure clinical and interpersonal outcomes are exceeded. Your experience will be valued and you will play a key role in supporting the team around you to ensure quality outcomes for all residents in your care.
About your new role at The Newstead Residences:
Reporting to the Care Manager, this is a casual role assisting our team with planned and unplanned leave
Shifts will range from AM to PM across 7 days a week
Lead, supervise and educate a clinical team and ensure the delivery of person-centred care at the highest possible standard
Ensuring all residents receive general and support services in line with resident contracts and care plans and be accountable for all medication management
Maintain effective inter-personal relationships with residents and wider stakeholders
Liaise effectively with external service providers who provide care within the community
About you:
Minimum six months' Registered Nurse experience (desired)
Flexibility to work various days and shift times
Hold a current AHPRA Division 1 registration with current CPR (required)
Current COVID-19 Vaccinations and Police Check (required)
Proficient in the use of technology and digital systems
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
