About the Role
With the increase in operating theatre capacity, we are inviting experienced Registered and Enrolled Scrub Scout / Anaesthetic / PACU nurses to join our team in the new year!
Our perioperative Specialties include Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, General Surgery (including Colorectal), Robotic surgery, Breast Surgery, Plastics, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Vascular and Oncology, Intraventional Radiology.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work across these surgical specialties, providing a diverse clinical and complex load with the right experience.
Your Skills and Experience

• Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse (IV qualified)
• Minimum two (2) years experience in an acute hospital environment
• Previous experience in a perioperative setting or willingness to learn
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team when required

Lake Macquarie Hospital is located in the Lake Macquarie LGA which falls in the greater Hunter Valley region. The hospital is an exciting and growing 187 bed acute advanced Surgical and Medical Hospital. The hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care Limited, the largest operator of private hospitals in Australia.
Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
