We have been caring for families for over three decades, and are proud of the unique residences offered to the community.About this Role:We are currently seeking Registered Nurses for our our brand new, state of the art aged care residence, Wagga Wagga Community Aged Care, based in Turvey Park that opened in January.We are looking for people who will strive to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence. Specifically for this role, you will need to be able to explain complex clinical matters to incoming residents and their representatives and to be able to assess and document each resident's care needs.The salary for this role is between $88,000 - $100,000 depending on shift times and allowances.Skills & Requirements for the Role:To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:Current unrestricted registration with AHPRADemonstrated aged care experience in pre-admissionsExperience in assessments and developing care plans Assess, plan and implement client care within your scopeConsider physical, social and psychological requirementsBe able to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs of our residentsAn understanding of Aged Care Quality StandardsAn understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification funding model (ANNAC)Demonstrated organisational and time management skillsDemonstrated well developed computer and documentation skillsExcellent communication and clinical problem-solving skillsConfidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.National Police Check less than 12 months oldEmployee Benefits & Work Culture:Our vision has always been to provide high quality homes accessible and inclusive to every person, and which encourage independence and best practice in models of service and care.
