Senior Finance Business Partner

The PositionReporting to the Finance Director, you will form part of the local management group and oversee the commercial finance functions relating to a large and forward-thinking surgical business unit within this well regarded healthcare provider. As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in driving the financial success of the business unit. You will be responsible for partnering with various operational stakeholders to provide financial insights, analysis and recommendations.This is a highly visible and influential role that requires a combination of strong financial acumen, Business Partnering skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital & healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and mentor a team of three
• Act as a trusted advisor to operational stakeholders, providing financial guidance and support to drive key business decisions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives
• Conduct financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost saving opportunities
• Preparation of regular financial performance reports, including commentary of actual versus forecast, along with recommendations of improvement
• Provide guidance on costing, profitability analysis and cost optimisation

Skills and Experience

• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in a Senior Finance related role with a commercial focus
• Demonstrated people leadership abilities and experience
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience operating as a Business Partner to operational stakeholders
