Exciting opportunities have become available for motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join the Cardiology/High Dependency Department at the private hospital in Hobart. Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and supporting nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery.
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- Bachelor of Nursing;
- Current Working with Vulnerable People check;
- Specialised cardiology/ high dependency experience is highly favourable;
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in cardiology/ high dependency (Desirable);
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards;
- Good clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills;
- Works well independently and within a team;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Proactive, motivated and customer-focused;
- Proficient computer skills.
$36.07 - $48.28 per hour.
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The hospital, located in Hobart, is a fully accredited facility with 146 beds providing a unique range of acute services, including general surgery, specialty care in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, breast, colorectal, oral, vascular, plastics, obesity surgery, and select surgery for paediatrics. The facility has a Critical Care Unit with 10 beds and a step-down unit with 15 beds.
