Community Nurses (Registered Nurses)
Based in the Virginia Office for the education of Support Workers & Clients in Brisbane North, South & Gold Coast as required.

The Role:
We are expanding our service provision to provide Community Nurses to our customer base and are looking for several experienced, AHPRA registered Community Nurses to join our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional, clinically based nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, PEG changes/care, bowel care, and medication management. This position will serve our participants within the North and South Brisbane & Gold Coast catchment areas, offering a rewarding opportunity to work within the disability and mental health sectors.
Typical Duties Include:
- Delivering Medication, Diabetes & Subcutaneous Training in person to Support Workers as required.
- Delivering individualized nursing care in home environments.
- Conducting nursing assessments and developing care/support plans.
- Performing home visits to monitor and support participants' health.
- Providing clinical training, support, and mentoring to our support worker teams.
- Offering nursing advice and support to participants and their families.

Key Role Priorities:
- Demonstrated experience in community nursing, particularly within disability and mental health settings.
- Experienced in delivering medication training to employees.
- Highly capable nursing skills with a proven ability to organize and deliver care efficiently.
- Experience in a mental health setting is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
- A compassionate, professional demeanor paired with resilience and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in electronic documentation. - A problem-solving mindset with strict adherence to company policies and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Ability to write reports as required for customer base
Key Selection Criteria:
- Qualified and AHPRA registered Nurse.
- Significant experience in community nursing, especially within disability and mental health services.
- Demonstrated nursing skills in a variety of clinical settings.
- Demondstrated experience in training & educating staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Proficient in electronic documentation and reporting.
