About the Role
We are looking for experienced nurses with prior peri-operative experience.
Non COVID-19 vaccinated nurses are welcome to apply.
We have positions available in;
- Scrub nurse,
- Scout nurse,
Our hospital offers an 8 bed in-patient surgical ward, 2 operating theatres, an Endoscopy procedural room, 7 bed PACU and 10 chair recovery unit. We provide surgical services in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, urology, general surgery and gastroenterology.
Our hospital is ever growing and we now have more surgeons starting, which is exciting.
We have a Monday-Saturday roster.
Successful applicants will need to possess:
- Current registration with AHPRA with no restrictions
- Previous experience in one or more of the roles advertised, or a high level of interest and dedication to learn a new role
- Organizational skills as well as a high level of written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills in a short period of time
- Computer literacy
- Condition of employment - evidence of vaccination against Preventable Diseases prior to employment -Hepatitis B, MMR, Pertussis and Varicella.
