Nurse Next Door is looking for Nurses (RNs and ENs) who are looking for 10 - 20 hours per week in a flexible schedule. The role has the opportunity to grow as client base for the region expands.

Duties for Nurses:
- Visit clients in their own homes to provide tailored care to their needs.
- Work under the guidance of the client's Care Designer (RN Manager).
- Assist clients with ADL's and personal cares.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
- Wound care, assessment and reporting.
- Parenteral Nutrition (TPN, PEG and PPT).
- Bowel management.
- Medication administration.
- Catheter change and care.
- Palliative Care.
- Conduct Nursing Assessments and provide clinical feedback.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Work cooperatively with other health professionals involved in the clients support team to achieve the greatest possible outcome.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able speak and write fluently in English. Other languages considered an asset.
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designer when needed.
- Able to travel from client to client in a timely fashion.
- Passionate about making a difference.
Requirements:
- Working with children check
- NDIS Workers Screener
- Driver's License
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
Preferred:
- Triple Vaccinated with COVID
- First Aid and CPR certificate within past 12 months
- Experience with wound care
- Experience with SPC and IDC changes
