DNA Nursing are currently working with a private billing practice in Hendra, Queensland. In the interim this is a Full Time position for the first two months to cover annual leave, the role will the become a permanent part time role working 3 days a week alongside one other nurse. This busy is a 3 doctor practice with growth plans for the future so is a good opportunity to join to help further establish their service.
We have permanent part time position for a Registered Practice Nurse, with operating hours of 8am - 5pm: flexibility in those hours if required.
Day to day duties include :
- Patient triage
- Take bloods
- Immunisation
- Wound dressing
- Medical supplies inventory/ordering
- Cold chain management
- Patients’ health assessments
- Care plans
- ECGS
- Assisting with minor procedures
Requirements :
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Certified Immunizer (desirable)
- GP Practice / Medical Centre experience is essential
- Best Practice / Hot Doc experience desirable
- COVID vaccinations
