Omega Medical are hiring Registered Nurses to work in Aged Care facilities on a contract basis. We have connections with Aged Care facilities all over Australia and right now we are recruiting adventurous, hardworking and passionate RN’s that are looking to travel this beautiful country and support facilities and residents in their times of need.

About us:
Omega Medical specialises in assisting employers to find the medical and healthcare talent required for temporary, locum, or permanent positions.
We take a hands-on approach when working with our nurses, assisting with the onboarding process and offering continuous communication throughout your contracts.
Your duties:
- Work as part of a collaborative team looking after residents and providing high quality Nursing care.
- Coordinate completion of care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation.
- Liaise with residents, families, and health care professionals.
- Promote a safe working environment for all residents and staff. Work within your scope of practice whilst referring to the professional code on conduct.
- Monitor the quality of resident files, progress notes and observation charts.
- Act as In Charge RN on shift, and report regularly to management.
- Participate in rotating rosters when required.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Bachelor of Nursing
- At least 6+ months experience as an RN and an understanding of how Residential Aged Care facilities operate.
- You can jump into a team or work culture and make the most of it by supporting colleagues and keeping a positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
