The Peritoneal Dialysis Unit is looking for their next nurse to join them in an Ongoing, Part-Time role.
The Division of Medicine, Cardiac and Critical offers a Peritoneal Dialysis service which provides education for patients and families, training and ongoing support for patients undertaking Peritoneal Dialysis, and an outreach service to country patients.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Actively participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient/client safety and minimise risks.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Display creativity and flexibility in addressing clinical issues, contributing to an innovative and dynamic clinical setting.
- Ability to integrate theoretical knowledge, evidence, and personal experience for optimal patient care outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills including negotiation, consultation and conflict resolution skills.
