We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join our team on a Fixed Term Contract for 1 Year. The Regulatory Affairs Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards governing our PepsiCo portfolio. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regulatory strategies that support product development, registration, and commercialization efforts.

The Opportunity
- Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations for ANZ Food and Beverage and Import businesses. This involves tracking regulatory changes, assessing their impact, and implementing necessary guidelines and protocols. Collaboration with bottlers is also essential, utilizing tools like the PEP system for regulatory work and approvals. Additionally, participation in project teams for innovations is required.
- External Affairs: Monitoring new regulations and updating business unit partners on their status to ensure preparedness. Acting as a representative in external engagements and staying vigilant for any regulations relevant to PepsiCo's portfolio.
- Functional Excellence: Leading efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of SRA (Scientific and Regulatory Affairs) within ANZ. Representing SRA both locally and within relevant PepsiCo committees.
- Innovation Facilitation: Partnering with the ANZ R&D team to provide regulatory insights for innovation strategies, ensuring compliance while exploring opportunities. Coordinating regulatory applications for new approvals or extended usage approvals when necessary.
- Crisis & Incident/Issue Management: Assisting in managing regulatory issues in ANZ through participation in crisis management teams, providing regulatory expertise, and taking necessary actions.
About You
- 7+ Years of functional experience in R&D within Product and Packaging Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control, and Food Safety
- Relevant Technical Degree in Food Science, Toxicology or Biochemistry
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability in effective internal and external engagement
- Demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills
