Job Description
The Regulatory Specialist role is responsible for the execution of regulatory compliance pertaining to products manufactured and sold in Australia plus those exported to other markets. The Regulatory Specialist advises the creative, applications, operations, sales and marketing departments on the regulatory compliance relevant to their function. This role reports into the Senior Manager, ANZ Indonesia Regulatory Affairs Team Lead.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Timely and accurate completion of regulatory documentation.
- Execution of compliance reviews against a prescribe criteria set.
- Establish strong customer relations at a regulatory level.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulations pertaining to the flavour and related industries.
- Effective communication with a strong customer focus on negotiation and resolution. Diplomatic interaction with regulatory authorities e.g. FSANZ, Dept of Agric, the Therapeutic Goods Administration of AU and others as they arise.
- Monitor the progress of submissions through contact with regulatory bodies and keep Business Units up to date with progress
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years regulatory experience in the flavour industry, food manufacturing or ingredient supply business.
- Sound knowledge of the FSANZ Code and AFGC PIF.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word etc.)
