Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for the provision of high quality client centred, evidence based Occupational Therapy services to clients of Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.
Member of an Occupational Therapy rotational team across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals in the areas of rehabilitation, Aged Care and Stroke (RACS) which is provided over a 7 days service .

Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree in Occupational Therapy, recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
- Registration: AHPRA Occupational Therapist – general registration
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated clinical experience in an Aged Care, stroke and rehabilitation setting including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription
- Skills in planning, implementing and evaluating intervention programmes
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- Commitment to ongoing education, professional development and quality improvement with demonstrated ability to reflect on clinical reasoning and implement new learning into clinical practice
- Ability to work in a team providing 7-day rotating roster
