Are you a recent graduate or an experienced allied health professional looking to enter the rehab/return to work industry in Regional WA? We are looking for a Pilbara (Karratha or Port Hedland) based Rehabilitation Consultant to join our regional team.
Job DescriptionHow you’ll be making an impact in people’s lives:
- Undertaking Occupational Therapy assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments (if OT)
- Undertaking assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans
- Designing and implementing intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity
- Identifying barriers and designing, implementing and monitoring programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation
- Understanding a variety of healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empowering your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals
- Liaising with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Australian recognised degree qualification and Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy, Psychology or Exercise Physiology
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
- A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers
- Willingness to work in the community (must have drivers licence and access to own vehicle)
- Current or able to get a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
