The Role
The Relationship Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management and administration of the operation of 12-15 services under their direction.
The goal of the Relationship Manager is to ensure the smooth operation of the OSHC services and foster a cohesive team environment where families and service contacts feel supported and valued.
Duties include:
- Fortnightly visits to all services under their guidance, both in metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia
- Ensure services and educators understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, frameworks, standards and Happy Haven policies, procedures and SOPs
- Regularly meet with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, Principal (or school representative), governing council, families and staff to discuss status, issues, planning, and progress
- Positively promote and oversee evaluation strategies and performance management of the service
- Ensure compliance with WHS procedures
- Participation in an out of business hours phone roster to field emergency calls
What You Need
- Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships with client contract managers
- Experience managing multi-site teams (rural experience beneficial), and a willingness and ability to travel to services within your remit
- Experience dealing with complaints that have been escalated from initial inquiries
- Confidence working with Site Managers to set and achieve goals, and manage underperformance
- Financial / business acumen
- Contribution to building positive reputation among all key stakeholders and assisting with identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
- History of involvement dealing with Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Education and Care Services National Law Application Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations (required)
- Good references from previous employment
- Refined computer skills, and advanced skills in MS Office Suite
- Hold or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check (required)
- Hold or be willing to obtain Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RHHAN-EC) certificate (required)
- Current valid Driver's Licence (required)
