As the Relationship Manager in our Asset Services, Metering team, you will play an essential role in driving profitability and customer satisfaction by maintaining customer relationships and ensuring Mondo and its customers adhere to contracts negotiated.
Help us in leading the way by developing and maintaining account strategies and plans to deliver growth and customer satisfaction.
With 3 days in the office, 2 days’ work from home, this role is based in Southbank and one day a week in Beaconsfield, Victoria and is part of the Asset Services – Metering team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service and account management to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships at senior levels with key strategic customers in the metering business.
- Driving high levels of customer retention by effectively managing negotiated contracts.
- Ensuring relevant customer information is captured in Salesforce to assist with renewing customer contracts.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded and operational efficiencies are achieved.
- Driving revenue growth from Channel Partners, Energy Retailers and Direct Customers.
- Negotiating agreements with retailers in line with Mondo’s pricing strategy.
- Driving cyclic engagement activities as required by the customer, ie operational and performance review meetings, annual reviews etc.
- Resolving client issues and concerns.
- Monitoring Channel Partner and Energy Retailer performance for lead indicators to risk.
- Gathering customer feedback and insights to assist in developing case studies and marketing material.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Current driver’s license required.
- Significant strategic experience in account and relationship management preferably within energy or utilities.
- Ability to effectively work independently, solve problems and demonstrate proactivity.
- Established relationships within industry.
- Highly developed presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong ability to influence and form relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Confidence in delivering presentations to small groups and senior management.
- High level of commercial acumen, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Occasional interstate travel may be required.
