The Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (the Foundation) is an iconic West Australian charity with its origins dating back 100 years and is the biggest fundraiser for the Perth Children’s Hospital. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our team on the frontline at the Foundation. The clinicians, researchers, nurses, families and patients you meet and their stories will inspire you like no other place you’ve worked before. Job Summary:

As the Relationship Manager Philanthropy, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with donors to ensure continued support and engagement. Your primary focus will be on fundraising, relationship management, and stewardship of donors.

Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven experience in fundraising or sales
• Ability to manage multiple donor relationships simultaneously
• Proficient in using CRM software for donor management
• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for cultivating new philanthropic relationships
• Maintain ongoing relationships with existing donors by providing regular updates on organisational initiatives and impact
• Identify opportunities for increased donor engagement through events, meetings, or other activities
• Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop tailored proposals that align with donor interests
• Ensure timely acknowledgment of donations received and provide appropriate stewardship activities
• Proactively seek out new funding opportunities through research and networking within the philanthropic community
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions with donors using CRM software

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising or sales roles
• Proven track record of successful relationship management within a philanthropic environment
• Experience working within the charity sector is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of ethical fundraising practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
