This reputable major bank is highly regarded and is a great opportunity for an experienced business, commercial, agricultural focused or private banker to join an existing portfolio and established and work alongside a well respected and collaborative team within the commercial/corporate segment in Darwin.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing existing and new key commercial customers and new-to-bank opportunities and supporting bank driven initiatives and providing excellent customer satisfaction and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing, onboarding and originating new-to-bank opportunities
- Managing key existing business customers within the current portfolio
- Adhering to bank compliance and lending regulations as required
- Submitting and preparing credit proposals
- Support the wider team with relevant coaching and mentoring
- Assist in achieving all relevant sales targets and team goals
- 5+ years' experience within a relationship management or business development role within a similar bank environment within the commercial or private banking segment
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
- Solid financial acumen and credit writing skills
