Job Title: Release/Test Manager - Salesforce

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Release/Test Manager to support our organization's application and infrastructure landscape. The primary objective of this role is to ensure all releases are appropriately tested and controlled within a DevOps framework, utilising tools such as Gearset. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our Salesforce environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for IT projects, implementations, and enhancements.
• Configure Salesforce functionalities, including custom objects, fields, work-flows, validation rules, process builder, and other automation tools.
• Oversee end-to-end release management processes, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and deploying releases.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans tailored to Salesforce applications.
• Manage test environments and test data to ensure accurate and efficient testing processes.
• Configure and optimise deployment processes to ensure efficiency and reliability within a DevOps environment.
• Create and maintain automated test cases using tools such as Selenium or Provar for Salesforce applications.
• Design robust regression test suites to ensure the stability and quality of Salesforce solutions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation of code changes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems related to Salesforce configuration, customisation, and integration.
• Mentor and coach junior team members in Salesforce development, testing, and release management practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including customisation, configuration, and development.
• Proficiency in Salesforce administration, including user management, permission sets, profiles, and data management.
• Experience in overseeing end-to-end release management processes within a DevOps framework.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, particularly within a Salesforce environment.
• Strong knowledge of test management principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration in a DevOps environment.
• Hands-on experience with Gearset or similar deployment tools for Salesforce metadata migration and release automation.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies for managing Salesforce development and testing activities.

Additional Skills:

• Basic Knowledge of Disability Sector and NFP work flows such as claiming & NDIS compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
